The Rotary Club of Drumright is ready to do our part to make our local community holidays a positive, safe experience that ends with happy well fed families.

It's time to ring the bell for the Drumright Christmas Community Fund. However with unprecedented circumstances and health concerns our organization will not be excepting donations at the corners of Pennsylvania and Broadway, as we have in past years. Instead we will be accepting donations directly through our treasurer Ben Pressman.

Ben has served as treasurer for our organization for over six years. He is also the chairperson for our annual speech contest as well as one of our most successful grant writers.

As much as the pandemic has forced innovation and creative solutions, it has also showed us as a community that there are many people suffering not just financially but emotionally, and making a donation to the Drumright Christmas Community Fund is a simple way to make not only a significant difference in the quality of the lives of others, but also show them you care about their family.

The Christmas Community Fund sponsors much needed projects, including the food baskets that accompany the Angel Tree, the community Thanksgiving and the Freddie Joseph Memorial Christmas Dinner.

Any donations made through the Rotary Club of Drumright go through our 5013C and are tax deductible. Thank you to the amazing citizens of the City of Drumright and it's wonderful surrounding communities in advance for your generous contributions of time and money to make "Service Above Self" not just something we do, but the essence of who we are as people.

To contribute monetarily to this worthy cause please contact Drumright Rotary Treasurer Ben Pressman at (918)-694-9233 or make checks payable to The Rotary Club of Drumright and mail to 311 S Bristow Ave. Drumright Ok 74030.

If you or someone you know is interested in being a part of something bigger than themselves, our club focuses on literacy, speech and community service to help our youth have the best opportunities for strong communication skills and good examples of community servants. For more information contact Drumright Rotary President Amanda Levis (918)-729-5820.
