Jerry Don “Rabbi” Wattenburger, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Friday evening at Grace Living Center, Stillwater, Oklahoma at the age of 80. Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Yale Assembly of God, Yale, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Flynn Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Loyd Ernst “Coach” age 88 died October 4, 2020, with his wife Linda at his side. He was born July 16, 1932 in Kellyville, Oklahoma, son of the late Ted and Lela McIntire Ernst.

Charles Scott Woodson, 91, died September 23, 2020, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. Charles was born August 23, 1929, in Ft. Smith, AR, to Earl and Faye Woodson. He spent all but one year of his childhood and teen years in Poteau. His high school included Oklahoma Military Academy and Poteau High School. Charles earned a business degree at the University of Oklahoma then attended the University of Tulsa College of Law. Charles married Betty F. Fowler on August 8, 1953, in St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Shawnee. They resided in Tulsa until 1960, at which time they moved to Drumright. After a short time in private practice, Charles was appointed District Judge by then- Gov. David Hall. He remained on the bench for 29 years before retiring in 1999. He was active in the First United Methodist Church of Drumright, Rotary Club, Elks Lodge, and loved to play golf and bridge. Charles lived in Tulsa at the time of his death.
