Carma Casey, 78, passed away on January 22, 2021 with her husband and their oldest son by her side.

Carma Casey was born on January 23, 1942 in Yale, OK to Ray and Goldie Casey. She grew up in Oilton, OK and attended Oilton schools where she met Frank Casey.

Carma and Frank were married on June 1, 1959 and had four sons. They lived in Tahlequah, OK for 5 years before returning to Oilton to raise their family. She spent the early years of their marriage as a homemaker before co-owning The Bucket Restaurant in the early 70’s with her niece, Debbie Taylor. There were several summers you would find her managing her own fireworks stand with the help of her sons. She then worked for Bruce Insurance in Oilton for 26 years before retiring in 2004.

Carma enjoyed attending Sunday morning church service at the First Baptist Church in Oilton. She liked to spend time tending to the garden and sewing. Carma was a QVC Queen! She always kept a TV on in the house tuned to the QVC channel, and their number had to have been on speed dial! Family was her greatest pride and joy. She enjoyed cooking for her family - always whistling while she did. Family summer vacations were always a favorite of hers, and hosting slumber parties with her grandchildren where candy and pop were plentiful, because there were no sugar limits at Grandma’s house.

Carma is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Goldie Casey; her sisters, Joyce Casey, Wanda Osborn and Kay Casey; her brothers, Bud Casey and Larry Casey; her niece, Debbie Taylor.

She is survived by her husband Frank Casey of the home; her four sons, Frankie Casey and wife Shelly of Oilton, David Casey and wife Julie of Sapulpa, Chris Casey and wife Tish of Sapulpa, Brian Casey and wife Ashton of Sand Springs; sister Donna Verlea Bookout and husband Jack of Blackwell; sister-in-law’s, Vicki Casey of Claremore and Mary Casey of Oilton; eleven grandchildren, Kailei Connelly and husband Brad, Meagan Hamilton and husband Mark, Allison Belveal and husband Colin, Paige Casey, Jessica Ballinger, Hayden Casey, Evan Casey, Colby Casey, Addison Casey, Brighton Cole and Wyson Cole; five greatgrandchildren, Mahliyah Connelly, Taylynn Connelly, Kyntan Hamilton, Kaleem Hamilton and Ryder Hamilton and many other family and friends.
