Memorial services were held at 11 am Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the First Baptist Church, Drumright, Oklahoma for longtime Drumright resident, Dala W. Seymour. Dr. Scott Morie and Dr. Monty McGee officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

Dala Seymour was born February 8, 1951 at Wichita, Kansas, daughter of the late Dale and Clara Turner. On April 12, 1978, Dala and Edward Seymour, Jr. were united in marriage at Miami, Oklahoma. Dala had been an active member of the First Baptist Church in Drumright and had worked at the Quapaw Company until her retirement. She was a talented cook and seamstress. Many people in the community utilized these talents over the years. In addition to her parents, Dala was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, on September 6, 2010 and her grandmother, Hattie Epperley. Dala departed this life November 26, 2020 at the age of 69 years.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Shanon Hagler and husband, Marcus, Cushing, Oklahoma, Allyson Lunsford and husband, Brett, Drumright, Oklahoma, Timothy Seymour and wife, Priscilla; grandchildren, Baleigh Seymour, Ethan and DeVaughn Hagler, Boston Dala Lunsford, Justen Seymour and wife, Jill, Tanner and Dalton Seymour; great-grandson, Kai Seymour; sisters, Carrie Turner and Lucy Patterson, both of Wichita, Kansas.
