The Oilton’s Panthers' season ended Saturday in Tupelo, with a pair of shutout losses coming at the hands of a bonafide state contender.
Oilton's varsity baseball team finished the fall season at Tupelo's district tournament with an 11-12 record and the No. 20 state ranking in Class B.
Before leaving for playoffs, coach Steve Welty acknowledged the challenge ahead.
