Oilton man killed in ATV crash

OILTON — On Saturday, April 27, Dusty Bryant, 31, of Oilton, was driving a 2015 Polaris Razor on West 6th St. and West Westwood Ave. about one half mile west of Oilton according to a report by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Brown.

Four county road projects planned in District 2

The Creek County Board of Commissioners approved using American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for a series of road repaving projects in District 2. District 2 Commissioner Leon Warner said each Commission district received about $500,000 to use for road and bridge projects, and he is using about $360,000 for four road repaving projects.

One dead, one injured in motorcycle crash west of Mannford

MANNFORD — On Sunday, April 21, at around 5:45 p.m., a motorcycle crashed on the westbound o ramp from OK51 to northbound OK-151, about fi ve miles west of Mannford according to a report by Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Trooper Oswalt. The 2023 Harley Davidson was driven by Sammy Reece, 50, of Sand Springs.
