Robert Dale Granstaff passed away from this life on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the age of 64. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 14, 1956 to Robert A. Granstaff and Betty (Groves) Granstaff.
Robert, better known as Dusty, retired as a Pipeline Inspector and Welder of 25 years. He had a passion for drawing and creating his very own cartoon character. He also loved spending his time in the kitchen cooking. Dusty was a Drumright High School graduate and attended OSU-Stillwater where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in agriculture science.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and uncle Burl Groves.
He is survived by his son, Shaun Granstaff and wife Monica of Okemah, Ok., daughter, Shannon Speir and husband Jordon of Okemah, Ok., sister, Meri McGraw and husband Mike of Palm Springs, Ca., niece, Sarah Hagelin and husband Todd of Palm Springs, Ca., five grandchildren Jameson Speir, Isabella Speir, Tenley Granstaff, Sawyer Granstaff, and Ripken Granstaff.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
